Richard G. Miller Mission July 4, 1942

July 4

Hip Hip and Bang Bang - of course we couldn't celebrate being as we are still with the British, and for some reason they don't recognize the gala part of the occasion. Fired a clip from my '45' for the spirit of it all.

Went to Fayid again, bombed and gassed up, and went to BG (Benghazi) to try and find a ship that passed in the night - a transport or two.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
