Richard G. Miller

June 7 - Saw a rather recent picture in town last night. P.A.A. flies films in for its employees _ name of "Ship Ahoy". Got up today to find the picture "Dust be my Destiny" completely outdone by one of the Sudan's better dust storms and, of course, continuing intense heat. Noticed one thing about the natives that I failed to mention - they wear little leather cases on their arms. Seems that they believe it was said by Mohammed that they carried a prayer written by him it would be their passport to Mecca, their Shangri-La, so they carry two or three prayers sealed in these leather cases. The usual position for these prayers is about the elbow. Heard that we'd leave tomorrow for Cairo.

376 ARCHIVES

The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
