I flew a mission on the 3rd with Major Lavin and Gen Ent.
Mission #24 Time 9:00
We bombed an airfield just north of Taranto harbor. We did a good job on the field. As we crossed the coast we were attacked by pursuits and they put up a stiff battle but fortunately no one was hurt and all the planes returned safely. We had a special photographer with us and he took pictures of the crew in action. Maybe I will get to see the results one of these days.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
