St. Polten, Austria - Marshalling yards

Bombed at l8,500 ft. Temp -40 degrees F.

8 - 500 lb. bombs

Ran into bad weather. Flew with [Francis] Holsclaw and [Robert] Kraft. Hit target in center. Excellent concentration of bombs. Started explosions and fires in yards. Had a rough running engine right after take off. It stood up OK. Didn't see our escort. 8 hour mission. Saw P-38's dive bombing near target. No flak.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
